Handmade Burger Co Review (Lincoln)

Over the weekend I travelled to Lincoln with my parents and my partner. We usually have a little argument over what to have for dinner as we can never agree on one thing to suit us all. I decided this time to let everyone else decide rather than being the fussy one, and we all agreed on Handmade Burger Co on the Brayford Wharf. I had never been there before as I don't like beef burgers, and am not a huge fan of burgers in general, but I decided I would give it a go with a chicken burger. Since I was trying it for the first time I had it completely plain with no sauce or salad. With it being chargrilled chicken and no sort of sauce I was slightly concerned that it may be a little bit dry and tasteless (as with most of the plain chicken I have had) but it wasn't like that at all. It had a very strong and delicious flavour and the chicken itself was lovely and moist. Their buns are undoubtedly the best I have ever tasted. So fresh and soft with a lovely flavour which perfectly compliments the meat. I have decided that next time I go (Which will hopefully be not too far in the future) I will have bacon on my chicken burger, as it will boost the flavour further.
I do apologise for the photos being blurry, but I was so excited to eat my food I didn't spend much time checking how the pictures turned out.
My partner Daniel loves burgers, it's one of his favourite foods- so he decided to have the Barbecue, Cheese and Bacon beef burger.
Daniel's little review of his burger:
"When the burger arrived it looked extremely big and was fairly weighty, so big that it was impossible to eat by hand- I had to use a knife and fork. The lettuce, tomato and red onion were succulent. The juices from the salad mixed with the meat created a mouth watering infusion. The smoked bacon was soft and tender and wasn't too salty. The burger itself was very tasty, and put together with the salad, bacon, and barbecue relish it made the ultimate burger."

As well as that, we had side orders of fries, which were very generous portion sizes. The chips were fresh hand cut and were the nicest chips- even nicer than good old chippy chips. You will only need one bowl of chips between two people (it could even feed three if you wanted it to) as their portions are so large.
We all had soft drinks with our food, and with this you get a glass and can go up and re-fill it with drink as many times as you like, as well as adding your own crushed ice.
The only other thing I haven't mentioned so far is the service given by the members of staff, which was completely top class. They were all friendly and the food arrived in great time considering it is all freshly cooked to order.
There aren't enough words in the English language to express how delicious this food was and how impressed I am with it. Everything is freshly made, and even though the prices may seem a little much at a glance, it is completely worth spending it as you get much more than what you pay for- in both food and quality. My mouth is watering at the thought of my next visit.
My overall rating for Handmade Burger Co Lincoln is:
5/5 stars!!
